The Acer beTouch E400 runs on AndroidTM 2.1. The powerful Qualcomm 7227 processor which runs at 600 MHz lets you get also unrivalled energy efficiency for increased battery life. The 12 mm slim beTouch E400 offers style and functionality with clear and simple menus. It has a large 3.2” high-definition touch screen which offers rich, vibrant colors and ultra-sensitive precision. The smartphone supports a 3.2-megapixel digital camera. The camera has a digital zoom, scene mode, white balance. The color effect and macro mode allow you to take high quality photos. Acer beTouch E400 has a smart LED lighting that flashes in different colors to let you know that you have a new message, or missed call or low battery.
This smartphone helps you to stay in touch with friends by email, IM and social networks (Facebook® and Twidroid built right in) at all times. It also gives you a chance to listen to high quality music through the standard 3.5mm audio jack. The beTouch E400 comes with Acer Sync that is an application allowing automatic cloud-based and Wi-Fi synchronization with notebook or desktop so that your contacts, calendars and files are always up to date.
Acer Sync allows you to sync your Google contacts while you are on the move.
The Acer beTouch E400 comes with 3 changeable battery covers that will emphasize your own style even more. It comes in soft-touch black, ceramic white and pearl red and will be available from April 2010.
