In the spring of last year, Acer has signed an agreement to purchase one of the leading players in the market of smartphones and communicators based on Windows Mobile – the company E-Ten. The result of fruitful cooperation in length per year was the first line of smartphones under the brand name Acer, apparently not having any common features with known devices that manufactured Glofish E-Ten. Today we look at one of the representatives of the new line – smartphone Acer F900.
The first thing that comes to mind when looking at the novelty, – iPhone! The device is actually very similar to the famous “Apple phone”.The same on the two dimensions of the case (118 x 64 mm), very large display, smooth glossy front panel, the rounded corners and edges, mirror framing around the perimeter and even metallic battery compartment lid!
However, do not worry – the quality of manufacture, materials and appearance in general, Acer F900, without a doubt, is one of the best smartphones on the market. Thanks to the smoother edges- novelty lies in the hand like a glove. The only pity is that the glossy finish front panel instantly covers with fingerprints. Yes, and matt finish plastic and metal elements of the posterior wall are exposed to the same disease.
Located below the display main control unit has a four touch buttons that are illuminated bright blue LEDs. These buttons are responsible for the reception and the abolition of the call, the opening of the standard Start menu and close the current window. It’s nice that the manufacturer took care of those who are not fans of touch control, accompanied by keystroke small Corps vibro-touch . But for the lack of a joystick or even touch navigation buttons, the developers should be given to bold minus. The situation could have saved the wheel on one of the side faces, but not this time.
