Iconia Tab A100 to be shipped in September?

A week ago Acer Grmany announced the Iconia Tab A100 will be shipped in September. This gladsome information was told to a Facebook fan so we have some reasons to be skeptic, though we tend to believe it. This Android 3-powered tablet has been awaited to be launched sometime in Spring, but unknown reasons prevented it and we have got no rumors about it since that time (apart some rumors). The delay wasn’t explained by the company and some of us lost the faith at all.

Initially it was intended to power the tablet with Android 3.2, and Android 3 and higher versions are developed for tablets, the Iconia Tab A100 is too small for it. This problem occurs when it is dealing with scalingĀ its interface and apps.

Other features can remain the same, but the screen. I mean the A500 which is similar to the A100, i.e. it sports the sameĀ Tegra 2 processor, dual cameras, 512MB RAM and 8GB internal memory.

Most likely the US release won’t be delayed and as it was rumored earlier Walmart will offer it for $349, which is quite accessible price for such handset.
