The iPhone 4 is the latest version of the Apple smartphone and supersedes the three earlier versions offering many more features and applications.
A major difference between this phone and previous models is video calling. The phone has two cameras, one front facing and one back facing. The back facing camera is typical of those found in most modern phones, and although it is far from being the best smartphone camera, it is adequate for the majority of situations where users just want to take a quick snapshot.

However the front facing camera is designed with video calling in mind. It is not that many years ago when the only hand held video calling device people knew about was found on Star Trek, but now it is available to anyone. Apple were far from being the first smartphone manufacturer to include video calling on their phone, but other features of the phone such as its extended battery life, improved connectivity and superb display screen means that it is one of the best implementations of this technology.
This phone is also twice as fast as the iPhone 3 and a remarkable four times as fast as the original iPhone. This is down to an improved processor and software. The phone is also equipped with an accelerometer and gyrometer which allows it to be controlled by physical movement of the body.

It shares many design features with its predecessors, but this fourth generation model has an attractive steel rim. The phone is also flat rather than bulged as were previous models and is a little smaller. This is because the antennae have been moved from the phone to the surrounding metal band. For the past few years Apple’s app store has provided one of the most compelling reasons to pick up an iPhone. With it’s new and ever-expanding app market, though, BlackBerry’s are always threatening to make up ground, and now that the Torch has launched, its touch screen input alongside the QWERTY keyboard combine with the astonishing 3.2” screen to mean that the apps can become more useful and more important than ever.
Of course, the ever present BBY Messenger is loaded as standard, and has probably overtaken SMS messaging as the communication method of choice for the majority of BlackBerry owners, but what else is making waves in the app market?
All of the big hitters in the social networking world are present too; Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare all have dedicated apps to download onto your BlackBerry Torch. But beyond this, Openbeak is perhaps even better than the dedicated Twitter for Blackberry app, being more streamlined and also offering functionality alongside twitpic and other picture uploaders.
There are some other genuinely innovative time saving devices too. PocketMac, for example, allows you to sync your BlackBerry to your Mac quickly and easily, without the hassle that comes with doing this through the standard channels – and that BlackBerrys do not already do this while iPhoes sync smoothly with PCs is almost criminal on behalf of RIM.
Also essential is Tether, an app that allows you to use your BlackBerry Torch to transfer the internet functionality of the phone to your laptop wherever you are. Acer introduced its new Acer beTouch E130 smartphone. At first sight the smartphone that has been released by the Taiwanase company looks like Blackberry device.

The phone itself has an eye-catching appearance. It supports a 2.6 inch QVGA display, full QWERTY keyboard and optical navigation pad. But it’s not the end. The device also features 3G (including 850/1900 bands for North America), Wi-Fi, 3.2MP camera for taking the nice moment of our life, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM, ST Ericsson CPU at 416 MHz, and MicroSD card which can be expanded up to 32GB.
Acer beTouch E 130 is based on Android 1.6 Donut and there is no information whether it will be updated to Android 2.1 or 2.2 or not.
