Despite the fact that the company Acer is a newcomer to the market of smartphones, the first models ready for release  is about to already go on sale. The fact that Acer recently acquired another Taiwanese company, E-Ten, certain of its series of powerful smartphones Glofiish. So they will have to start from scratch, but with a few more developed in the E-Ten models. One of these smartphones, Acer DX900, formerly known as E-Ten Glofiish DX900, we consider in our review.

I must say that smartphone comes to sale with a newer name of  Acer. It’s interesting to position the model. Phone DX900 offers support for two SIM-cards, and with the possibility of simultaneous work. The rest, we face a typical strong smartphone with a maximum capacity – Wi-Fi, GPS, VGA-screen, fast processor. But everything in order, starting with the sales package.

Set, like most devices, a series Glofiish, very rich. In the box you will find both the necessary accessories such as charger, stereo headset and USB-cable, and pleasant additions: carrying case with belt clip, device spare, a protective film on the screen. In addition to above, some shops offer an expanded package, which includes navigation software Car Charger and car holder.

Last year, Acer acquired a Taiwanese manufacturer WM-communicators E-TEN. As the network as soon as rumors that Acer intends to enter the market of mobile phones. Officially, this will be announced at MWC 2009, which will pass through one and a half weeks in Spain.
The first phone will be the smartphone Acer Acer DX900. It does not represent anything revolutionary – rebranded model E-TEN DX900. However, its functional, it should be noted, in itself quite good: OS Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, 2,8-inch touch VGA-screen, 3-megapixel camera, 128 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM Processor Samsung S3C 6400 533 MHz , Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. A key feature of the device is the possibility of simultaneous work in two networks (2G and 3,5 G) due to the presence of two slots for SIM-card.
